PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately demodulate and decode reception signals at a reception side without increasing the number of antennas in a radio superimposed transmission system to which an error correction code is applied. SOLUTION: In the superimposed transmission system of arranging spectra so that a plurality of signals are overlapped on a frequency axis and transmitting them in the transmitter and repeating successive demodulation/decoding processing procedures of the overlapped signals while using interference suppression processing and interference elimination processing in the receiver at the transmitter side, the nulling processing of a data subcarrier is performed so as not to superimpose other signals on a pilot subcarrier used for transmission line estimation among the respective signals. At the receiver side, the successive demodulation/decoding processing is performed by applying the interference suppression processing to the subcarrier to which the nulling processing is performed, the transmission line estimation is performed using the pilot subcarrier to which superimposition is not performed, and replica signals used for interference elimination are generated by estimated transmission line characteristics.
