PURPOSE: An algorithm of converting cash to points is provided to collect the amount of cash inputted by a customer and convert the cash to card points just like performing a card payment at a credit card franchise. CONSTITUTION: A customer enters the amount of money and personal information using a franchise terminal(H4). A card company server confirms that the customer DB corresponds to the information inputted through the franchise DB(H12). The trade is permitted and the points for the amount of inputted money are modified and saved(H14, H15). The information related to the approval is transmitted via a mobile phone text message and an e-mail registered on the customer DB. The result of authorization and data are transmitted through the on-line network. The franchise receives the data and the terminal outputs the received data. |
