PURPOSE: A cooling ring carrier assembly for a piston of an internal combustion engine is provided to produce pistons with various shapes of oil galleries according to need. CONSTITUTION: A cooling ring carrier assembly for a piston of an internal combustion engine comprises a ring carrier(10) and a cooling tube(20). The ring carrier comprises a cylindrical inner surface(11) and a side surface(12). The cooling tube is made of a metal plate, and the edges(21) of the cooling tube are welded to the inner and side surfaces of the ring carrier. An oil gallery(25) is formed in the cooling tube to circulate cooling oil insulated from outside.
