PURPOSE: A text message transmission method is provided to transmit or receive a text message service. CONSTITUTION: An AMS transmits a first message for performing ranging with an ABS(Advanced Base Station)(S404). The AMS receives a second message from ABS to response about the first message(S405). The second message includes uplink resource allocation information for transmitting SMS information and a third message transmission.
