摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve heat exchanging performance, and to reduce the required amount of a refrigerant by reducing the internal volume of a heat transfer tube. <P>SOLUTION: In a flow passage of the heat transfer tube 12, an insertion member 13 is provided having a cross section with a maximum diameter that is smaller than an inner diameter of the heat transfer tube and in which a plurality of rod-like members are twisted in a spiral while being closely attached with each other. The flow passage cross sectional area in which fluid flows is gradually decreased as the degree of dryness of the fluid becomes smaller. Thereby, a turbulent flow of the refrigerant is promoted while suppressing a pressure loss during evaporation, and an evaporation capacity can be improved or suppressed from being lowered. When the heat exchanger is used as a condenser, a condensed liquid is adhered on the outer surface of the insertion member, so that a liquid film on the inner surface of the tube can be made thin, and the heat exchanger with high heat exchanging performance can be obtained.
