PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply device for a vehicle, capable of securing an enough self-propelling distance when battery charging is stopped while reducing the number of power circuits and terminals and making connectors compact. SOLUTION: The power supply device for the vehicle includes: a controller 10 for controlling a power supply for a first load 50 affecting movement of the vehicle and a power supply for a second load 60 not affecting movement of the vehicle; a semiconductor switching element 40 for cutting off or conducting the power supply for the second load; and power-supply wiring 80 for commonly supplying power to the controller 10, a semiconductor switching element 30, and the semiconductor switching element 40. When a charge lamp 140 lights, the charge lamp lighting during a battery 130 not being charged, the controller receives a charge lamp-lighting signal and transmits a drive-stopping command for cutting off the power supply for the second load to the semiconductor switching element.
