<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal transfer image receiving sheet which can be efficiently produced while maintaining various performances of a printed matter, such as image density, mold releasability and light resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The thermal transfer image receiving sheet has a base material, and a porous layer and a receiving layer on the base material, wherein the receiving layer contains a resin and a wax additive, and the wax additive contains a mixture of a carnauba wax and a paraffin wax.
