PURPOSE: An emergency brake alarm system is provided to give an alarm to not only a following vehicle but also a front vehicle gradually. CONSTITUTION: In an emergency brake alarm system, a sensor(10) senses the traveling state of a vehicle and road condition. A controller(20) determines a target to receive an alarm and the direction thereof according to the sensed result of the sensor. The controller alarms gradually according to the state of sudden breaking The controller turns on a rear brake light(32) when satisfying a certain condition of giving an alarm to a following vehicle The controller give an alarm to the following vehicle when satisfying a certain condition of turning on an emergency light.
