PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor selecting a communication channel stably performing communication among a plurality of communication channels capable of communication, a method of determining a communication channel, and an information processing system. SOLUTION: The image processor includes: a communication part; a channel evaluation part for evaluating communication channels capable of communication for each communication channel based on a detection result of carrier waves to derive evaluation values for each a communication channel; and a channel determination part for determining a communication channel used for communication with a communication object device based on the evaluation values derived for each a communication channel. In the image processor, the channel evaluation part respectively performs detection of a first carrier wave using a first criterion and detection of a second carrier wave using a second criterion for each channel, derives evaluation values for each communication channel based on the detection result using the first criterion and the detection result using the second criterion; and the communication part performs radio data communication with the communication object device using the determined communication channel.
