PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make MIMO processing suitable for radio transmission within an instrument or between instruments. SOLUTION: In order to apply space division multiplexing, a transmitting-side radio communication apparatus comprises a plurality of transmitting antennas 136 and a corresponding receiving-side radio communication apparatus also comprises a plurality of receiving antennas 236, and the transmitting antennas and the receiving antennas are provided in one-to-one correspondence. Between corresponding antennas, a desired wave transmitted from an antenna 136 is received as a direct wave and between non-corresponding antennas, an unnecessary wave transmitted from an antenna 136 is received as a direct wave. A first communication apparatus 100 comprises a MIMO processing section 601 and a modulation functional section 8300. The MIMO processing section 601 performs correction arithmetic processing based on a channel matrix on each transmission-target signal so as to cancel a component of the unnecessary wave received by an antenna 236, and the modulation functional section 8300 performs modulation processing using a signal after correction arithmetic operation.
