PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stabilizer device favorable in noise characteristic, improved in assembling performance, and low in price. SOLUTION: The stabilizer device 6 which suppresses the vibration of a cord region 4b of a chain 4 laid between first and second pulleys 2, 3 comprises a cylindrical stabilizer 7 penetrated with the cord region 4b, an internal regulation member 7 which opposes the internal periphery 41 of the chain 4, and an external regulation member 9 which opposes the external periphery 42 of the chain 4. The stabilizer 7 extends along the cord region 4b, and is supported by the cord region 4b. The internal regulation member 7 permits the movement of the stabilizer 7 in the traveling direction X of the cord region 4b within a prescribed range. The external regulation member 9 regulates a moving range of the cord region 4b to the outside of the cord vibration direction Y which intersects with the traveling direction X by contacting with the stabilizer 7.
