PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball spline reduced in cost and shortened in axial length by eliminating a C-type snap ring conventionally used in a ball spline outer cylinder. SOLUTION: A cage 7 is regulated in axial movement by allowing one end to abut on an inward flange part 11 formed at a housing 5 and allowing the other end to abut on an annular member 12 fixed to the housing 5. A radial distance between the inner peripheral surface of the inward flange part 11 and the bottom of a spline raceway 2a of a shaft 2 is made smaller than the diameter of a ball 4.
