<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorptive article having improved absorption ability obtained by increasing the absorption speed of the absorption body and enlarging the absorption region. <P>SOLUTION: A urine absorption pad 10 includes a top sheet 20, a back sheet 30, a first layered body 40, and a second layered body 50. The first layered body 40 has formed therein a slot-like first through section 46 which penetrates through the first layered body in the thickness direction thereof from the upper surface 44 to a facing surface 45 thereof so as to be substantially vertically. The second layered body 50 has formed therein a slot-like second through section 53 which penetrates through the second layered body in the thickness direction thereof from a facing surface 52 to the lower surface 51 thereof so as to be substantially vertically, and the second through section is superposed on the first through section 46. The area of opening of the first through section 46 is greater than that of the second through section 53. When the first layered body 40 and the second layered body 50 are superposed on each other, the front and rear edges 53a and 53b and both the side edges 53c of the second through section 53 protrude from the front and rear edges 46a and 46b and both the sides edges 46c of the first through section 46, and asa a result, stepped sections are formed between the first through section 46 and the second through section 53. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
