PURPOSE: An organic light emitting device and manufacturing method thereof are provided to apply energy to the interface between a substrate and a passivation film by an ion implantation method to form a new layer, thereby preventing moisture penetration. CONSTITUTION: An organic light emitting unit(20) includes a first electrode, an organic film, and a second electrode. The organic light emitting unit is formed on a substrate(10). A first passivation film(30) is deposited on the substrate and the organic light emitting unit. An ion beam is inserted onto the first passivation film. A second passivation film(40) is deposited on the first passivation film. An ion beam is inserted onto the second passivation film.
