AIR CONDITIONER AND OUTDOOR UNIT THEREOF

PURPOSE: An air conditioner and an outdoor unit for the same are provided to enhance the ability and efficiency of an air conditioner and improve the performance of the air conditioner without the size increase of the outdoor unit. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner comprises a compressor, a first heat exchanger(40), a second heat exchanger(60), a fan(80). The first heat exchanger is connected to the compressor through a first connecting pipe(4b) and condenses vapor refrigerant compressed by the compressor. The first heat exchanger comprises a first header communicated with the first connecting pipe, a plurality of tubes and a second header. The second heat exchanger is connected to the first heat exchanger through a second connecting pipe(4c) and over-cools refrigerant condensed by the first heat exchanger. The second heat exchanger comprises a heat exchange pipe, which is bent several time between the second connecting pipe and a third connecting pipe(4d).
