The lining (1) has a base wall (2) and integrally associated side walls (3) formed from a punched plastic shaped part (30). Sides of the lining are completely covered with a ductile textile layer (4). The lining is manufactured in such a manner that the textile layer is pressed into a semi-finished material during deep-drawing. The side walls and base wall of lining are flexibly formed on an outer side and an inner side. The plastic shaped part is formed from a plastic e.g. Polycarbonate, polyethylene, PVC, polypropylene, polystyrene and acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device for producing a lining for protection of a vehicle interior (2) a method for producing a lining for protection of a vehicle interior.
