PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a specimen dispensing method in an analyzing device which prevents the dilution of an analyzing specimen by adding an excessive amount of the analyzing specimen to suck the analyzing specimen and achieves the effective utilization of the specimen using an excessive amount of the specimen in analysis, and the analyzing device. SOLUTION: The specimen dispensing method in the analyzing device 1 is constituted to perform dispensation corresponding to the setting of quantitative dispensation for sucking an excessive specimen O2 and the analyzing specimen O1 corresponding to an analyzing item to discharge only the analyzing specimen O1 and extrusion dispensation for sucking only the analyzing specimen O1 to discharge the same along with extrusion water L2 and includes a quantitative dispensation step (step S108) for sucking the excessive specimen O2 and the analyzing specimen O1 corresponding to a quantitative dispensation item to discharge only the analyzing specimen O1 to a reaction container 20 and an extrusion dispensation step (step S109) for discharging the excessive specimen O2 sucked in the quantitative dispensation step to a separate reaction container 20 as the analyzing specimen O1 along with the extrusion water L2 corresponding to an extrusion dispensation item.
