<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner having a deodorizing function by electrostatic atomization without water supply. <P>SOLUTION: The air cleaner includes: water producing means 15 for producing water from moisture in air; a water storage part 17 which is provided apart from the water producing means 15 and below the water producing means 15 so that the water produced by the water producing means 15 can be dropped and stored; and an electrode 31 which is provided at the water storage part 17. The air cleaner generates a mist by applying a high voltage to the electrode 31 so as to atomize the water in the water storage part 17.
