PURPOSE: A speed-reactive speed bump is provided to prevent vehicle accidents by automatically protruding from the road surface when detecting a vehicle running over the regulation speed. CONSTITUTION: A speed-reactive speed bump comprises a speed sensor(100) for checking the speed of a vehicle(C), a buried box which is buried in a road(R) behind the speed sensor with the top open and has guide grooves on the front and rear sides thereof, a speed bump frame(300) which is installed inside the buried box to be selectively flush with the road surface or projected from the top of the buried box, a vehicle passage sensor(400) which is installed behind the buried box to check the passage of vehicles, and a speed bump elevating unit which is installed inside the speed bump frame to raise or lower the speed bump frame according to the vehicle speed information and vehicle passage information from the speed sensor and the vehicle passage sensor.
