A method and apparatus for notification of emitted energy are provided in the present invention. The method includes the following steps: performing emitted energy decrease to the resource elements in the current cell, which have the same time-frequency location with some or all resource elements in which the reference signal of the adjacent cell locates; obtaining the emitted energy parameter of the energy non-decreased resource element (NRE) in the current cell according to the emitted energy decrease amount of the emitted energy decreased resource element (DRE); notifying the user equipment (UE) of the emitted energy parameter of the NRE. The embodiments of the present invention can avoid the waste of emitted energy and increase the emitted energy of some resource elements (REs), thus improving the signal interference to noise ratio (SINR) and throughput of the service data.
