PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the drive of a light source and prevent a change in the color of a displayed image. SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device 1 includes: an LCD panel 60; a memory 25 for storing a color correction parameter; a light emission factor calculation unit 32 for changing the light emission factors of LEDs 52r, 52g and 52b, according to the frame of the image displayed on the LCD panel 60; a state detection unit 11 for detecting changes in the light emission factors of the LEDs 52r, 52g and 52b; a correction factor acquisition unit 12 for obtaining the correction factor of the color correction parameter stored in the memory 25 from the mixture factors or offsets of the LEDs 52r, 52g and 52b changed by the light emission factor calculation unit 32, when the state detection unit 11 detects the changes in the light emission factors of the LEDs 52r, 52g and 52b; and a color correction parameter calculation unit 22 for calculating the color correction parameter of the frame after the change of the light emission factors, from the correction factor of the color correction parameter obtained by the correction factor acquisition unit 12 and the color correction parameter stored in the memory 25.
