PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device and a method of driving the same are provided to improve power consumption by adjusting the gate high voltage of a gate clock signal. CONSTITUTION: In a liquid crystal display device and a method of driving the same, a gate wiring is extended along a row line. A data line is crossed with the gate wiring. The gate wiring and data line define a pixel. A gate clock signal generating unit(400) generates the gate clock signal. A gate driving unit outputs a scan pulse to the gate wiring. |
