MARCHAND BALUN DEVICE FOR FORMING PARALLEL AND VERTICAL CAPACITANCE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a marchand balun device which has an excellent frequency band property by increasing a coupling coefficient. SOLUTION: A marchand balun device 100 includes: a first line 110 connected between a first balanced terminal 111 and a first ground terminal 112; a second line 120 connected between a second balanced terminal 121 and a second ground terminal 122; a third line 130 disposed horizontally parallel to the first and second lines and forming a parallel capacitance jointly with the first and second lines; a first coupled line 140 disposed vertically parallel to the first and third lines and forming a vertical capacitance jointly with one of the first and third lines; and a second coupled line 150 disposed vertically parallel to the second and third lines and forming a vertical capacitance jointly with one of the second and third lines. A coupling coefficient can be increased as a whole since the vertical capacitance is provided in addition to the parallel capacitance. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
