PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a winding method capable of simplifying processing of a terminal line to reduce the number of steps for wire connection, and capable of winding and workpiece replacement in a narrow work space, along with a winding device which is directly used for performing the winding method. SOLUTION: When a flyer 10 is rotated by activating a motor 41 for rotating the flyer, a nozzle 11 fixed to the tip of the flyer 10 along the direction of rotational axis line O is also rotated around the rotational axis line O. Each time the nozzle 11 (flyer 10) is rotated once, a motor 71 for reciprocating a receiver is driven to reciprocate (linear motion) a workpiece receiver 20 (workpiece W1) in to-and-fro direction (length direction of pole part p), and a motor 51 for vertical movement is driven to apply a feed by a predetermined amount to the nozzle 11. A wire material L delivered from the nozzle 11 is sequentially wound in layers on the pole part p of the wire not wound yet of the workpiece W1 to form a winding part M1. The nozzle 11 draws a non-circular closed-loop orbit which extends oblongly along the length direction of the pole part p relative to the workpiece W1. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
