PURPOSE: User-oriented language learning apparatus and method are provided to improve the effect of language learning processes regardless of physically limited terminal environment. CONSTITUTION: An output unit(120) arbitrarily lists a plurality of words forming a correct sentence in a first language and outputs the words through a screen display unit. A controlling unit(140) successively moves the words and moves a word selected by a user to the next position of a word which is previously moved. The controlling unit includes a position setting part, a verifying part, a processing part, and a resetting part.
