PURPOSE: A power on/off apparatus of an RFID tag and method thereof is provided to turn on/off the power of an RFID tag and to reduce the waste of unnecessary power. CONSTITUTION: A power unit(110) supplies the power of an RFID tag. A control unit(150) turns on/off the power unit. If the power unit is turned off, the control unit outputs a power blocking signal. A signal processing unit(130) outputs a high signal or a low signal according to a power blocking signal. A power converting unit(140) converts the supplied power to the system power of the RFID tag according to an output signal of the signal processing unit. |
