PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to create new e-mail by reusing sentences or the like in an e-mail text retrieved from past e-mails without changing an operation target from a transmitting e-mail creation processing system to a retrieval processing system or the like. SOLUTION: In the transmitting e-mail creation processing system utilizing an e-mail creating window or the like, a transmitting destination address and a subject which are respectively input to a transmitting destination address input column and a subject input column in the window are acquired to so as to create transmitting e-mail. A character input support apparatus includes a function for retrieving reusable sentences without changing an operation target by searching past e-mails by using the acquired input information.
