PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compatibly satisfy traction performance and lateral grip performance at a high level in an off-road travelling such as rally, dirt trial or the like. SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire 1 includes a block pattern with a plurality of blocks B divided in a tread section 2, and the installation direction thereof into a vehicle is designated. The blocks B are divided by inclined grooves 5 adjacent each other in a tire circumferential direction, an inner circumferential groove 3, a first lateral groove 4, a second lateral groove 6, and a connection groove 7, thereby including a substantially dog leg-shaped bent block B1 integrally having a width direction section 11 extended from an inner peripheral groove 3 to a tire equator C, and an inclined section 12 extended between the inclined grooves 5. In the bent block B1, a bent point E1 formed by a cross point of a center line K1 between the first lateral groove 4 and second lateral groove 6, with a center line K2 between the inclined grooves 5 and 5 is located inside the vehicle from the tire equator C.
