PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To input a signal corresponding to each of a plurality of states by one operation to open/close a circuit. SOLUTION: An input device 11 includes: an encoder 23 for detecting the state of a control part 61 of a connected digital still camera; a scan pulse generation part 25 for generating a predetermined pulse signal in response to the detected state; a key input detection part 41 for outputting predetermined interrupt in response to the detected pulse signal in accordance with the detection of the pulse signal; and switches SW11-SW44 for opening/closing a circuit for connecting the scan pulse generation part 25 and the key input detection part 41.
