The device (9) has a force measuring device (11) provided in an area on a testing body (10), where a belt (3) runs in the area in a laid condition. The testing body is positioned on a seat (1), which is attached to the belt to be measured, where form of the testing body is based on human torso. The force measuring device is designed as a pressure sensor foil (15) and pressure sensor (30), and a holding element (24) is provided to fix the testing body at the seat. The holding element is designed as an elastic band or a tensioning belt.
