PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resolver digital converter working at high speed, with high accuracy, and with stability. SOLUTION: Outputs S1 and S2 from a resolver are input intoΔΣ-type AD converters 1A and 1B, respectively. Control over a feedback loop for calculating the rotation angleϕof a rotating apparatus is exercised by an angular velocity calculator 6 for calculating the angular velocity v of the rotating apparatus by exercising proportional gain adjustment and phase compensation, and by a rotation angle calculator 7 for calculating the rotation angleϕ, by integrating the angular velocity v by using an integrator 71.
