PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with a brazing process in a stage of connecting pipes. SOLUTION: A long pipe 2 is formed by fitting an end section of an expanded or contracted pipe 2B or 2C of the pipes to be connected to each other, to an end section of the other pipe 2A, and a refrigerant pipe 3 is spirally wound on an outer periphery of the long pipe 2 to form an assembled pipe 10. The assembled pipe 10 is bent to a prescribed dimension, the bent assembled pipe 10 is dipped in a soldering tank 4 in which solder is melted, and joining interfaces of a joining section of the pipes, and a joining section of the pipe and the refrigerant pipe are filled with the solder 5 to simultaneously join these joining sections.
