PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent imaging from being hindered when a graph is displayed for showing a focusing state on a view finder, during imaging. SOLUTION: An imaging system 100 is composed of an imaging device 101 for capturing a subject image and a focus assist device 102 that vibrates based on a focusing state of the imaging device 101. The imaging device 101 includes: a transmission section for transmitting information to a focus assist device 102; and a control section for transmitting focus information output by an image processing section using the transmission section. The focus assist device 102 includes: a receiving section for receiving the information transmitted by the imaging device 101; a converting section for converting the information into vibration information for changing vibration based on the focus information received by the receiving section; and a vibration section for vibrating based on the vibration information.
