PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of cracks caused during the press-forming time of an aluminum alloy sheet, which is supplied to a forming-work such as a press-formation, by considering the control of a crystalline texture in the sheet-thickness direction therof. SOLUTION: In the aluminum alloy sheet having 0.3-10 mm sheet thickness (t), the main orientation of the crystalline texture in the sheet thickness portion from the sheet surface to 0.2×t(mm) is a Cube orientation and the surface layer zone, in which the orientation density of this Cube-orientation is≥20 (random ratio) and besides, the orientation density of the crystal orientation except the Cube-orientation is≤10 (random ratio), has at least one side of the main-surface side and also, the orientation density of the whole crystal orientation in the crystalline texture in the remaining sheet-thickness portion except this surface layer zone, is≤10 (random ratio), and further, the sheet is constituted so that the extensions in 0°, 45°and 90°directions to the rolling direction, are≥25% to the whole and the difference between the maximum value and the minimum value, is≤5%.
