<p>PURPOSE: A method and apparatus for authenticating a user based on a multi-touch input are provided to enhance security and increase user convenience by performing user authentication based on a multi touch input. CONSTITUTION: A multi-touch input signal profile configuring unit(21) acquires a first input signal to configure a first touch input signal profile. If a second touch input signal is generated within a preset time, the multi-touch input signal profile configuring unit acquires a second touch input signal to configure a second touch input signal profile. A user authentication execution unit(22) compares the first and second touch input signal profiles with an authentication template profile to perform user authentication.</p> |
