<p>PURPOSE: A hose clamp is provided to enable high tensile force, which is transferred from a clamping band to the base wall of a housing, to be absorbed through a protrusion. CONSTITUTION: A hose clamp(1) comprises a clamping band(2) and a turnbuckle(5). The turnbuckle is attached to the end of the clamping band. The turnbuckle comprises a housing(6) and a clamping thread(7). The base wall(10) of the housing comprises a shaping unit, which is engaged with the clamping band. The shaping unit comprises a protrusion(13) and a recess. The protrusion is formed on a side facing the clamping band. The recess is formed on a side, which is separated from the clamping band. The area of the recess is wider than that of the protrusion.</p> |
