PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control pre-reproduction so that recall and comprehension of an already viewed part become easy when environment and attendees when viewing is interrupted are different from environment and attendees when the viewing is restarted. SOLUTION: A video information reproducing device 2A obtains, when reproduction of content information is stopped, reproduction stop information including content identifier for identifying the content information, reproduction stop position information for specifying a reproduction stop position of the content information, and a video information reproducing device identifier for identifying the video information reproducing device 2A used for the reproduction of the content information, and transmits the obtained reproduction stop information to a server 4. When the reproduction of the content information is restarted by a video information reproducing device 2B, the server 4 determines that the video information reproducing device 2A which stops the reproduction of the content information is different from the video information reproducing device 2B which restarts the reproduction of the content information, and transmits a pre-reproduction part in which at least either of a system or length is different in comparison with the case that the devices are the same to the video information reproducing device 2B.
