THREE-ROLLER PLANETARY ROLLING METHOD FOR ROLLING BRASS PIPE

<p>A three-roller planetary rolling method for rolling brass pipe, includes the following steps: processing the front end of the raw pipe (1) to be a cone (11); selecting a mandrel (7) to make the unilateral gap (L) between the mandrel (7) and the inner wall of the raw pipe (1) being not greater than 2.5mm; preheating the raw pipe (1) to 100~500?, then sending the preheated raw pipe (1) to the three-roller planetary mill and rolling; spraying the emulsion (51) to the roller (4) when rolling and setting the spraying intensity of the emulsion (51) to be 0.025~0.045MPa; sweeping the raw pipe (1) by a sweeping device (2) provided at the mill inlet (31) to prevent the emulsion (51) from flowing back which can make the raw pipe (1) not contact with the emulsion (51) before the raw pipe (1) enters the rolling zone; drawing the rolled pipe discharged from the outlet of the mill to produce a finished product. The advantage of the method is that a good quality pipe can be produced because the brass pipe is preheated before rolled and therefore the rolling temperature is above the intermediate temperature brittleness zone of 400~600?.</p>
