<p>Provided is a digital broadcast receiving device that can display a list of titles of messages and contents together with an audio-visual screen without obstructing the act of viewing and hearing. The digital broadcast receiving device is provided with a control unit (25) that judges whether a set optical disc is available for a replay only or is recordable and controls a display screen. When the optical disc is set, the control unit (25) controls to display the display screen including a first display area to display contents of digital broadcast or an external input and a second display area to display a message indicative of preparations for the optical disc. In the case where the optical disc is available for replay only, the control unit displays only a replay screen of contents recorded at the optical disc when the preparations for the optical disc are completed. In the case where the optical disc is recordable, the control unit makes the second display area further display a list of titles of contents recorded at the optical disc and erases the message in the second display area when preparations for the optical disc are completed.</p> |
