<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle headlamp, thin and compact with superior designability, and with good visibility for a driver and without glare on an oncoming vehicle, in one having a low-beam light distribution pattern formed by a low-beam use light source unit structured of a plurality of projection type optical units. <P>SOLUTION: The low-beam use light source units 4 are structured by arranging a light source group 6 made of a plurality of light sources and a plurality of optical units 4a to 4c with projection type optical systems formed by projection lenses 7a to 7c in a vehicle width direction so that adjacent optical units are to be at the same angle. Each light distribution pattern formed of each optical unit 4a to 4c is set up by changing materials of projection lenses 7a to 7c and their curvatures, and the low-beam light distribution pattern is formed by synthesizing the light distribution patterns. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
