A central registering system gathers and processes information about services provided by short range wireless routers across a dispersed geographical area. The system provides intelligent maps of wireless communications, transactions and other data useful for identifying wireless service areas in locations, providing usage patterns, identifying needs for new services or surpluses, and creating views of the value of these services. This is conducted in an automated way that demonstrates transactions from uniquely identifiable wireless transmitter devices with unique identifiers, and that these have been present in the vicinity of the router. A position detection system, coordinated at a central web server registers the position and provides web based information about where the wireless transmitters have been located, usage patterns, and ascribe values to these services. |
