PURPOSE: A light emitting device and a light unit using the same are provided to efficiently discharge heat by forming a heat radiation extension unit including a heat radiation fin on the rear of a heat radiation unit. CONSTITUTION: A light emitting diode(20) is received in a body. A plurality of electrodes are arranged in the body and are electrically connected to a light emitting diode. A heat radiation unit(50) is received in the body and is thermally connected to a light emitting diode. The heat radiation unit includes a support unit and a heat radiation extension unit(54). The support unit fixes the light emitting diode. The heat radiation extension unit has a plurality of heat radiation fins which are exposed on the rear of the body and are connected to the support unit. |
