PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which is usable regardless of presence of a card unit, and is prevented from being fraudulently used due to fraudulent connection when the card unit is not connected. SOLUTION: The game machine includes a selection switch to select validation or invalidation of an interface 400 connecting with a card unit 2. The selection switch is disposed within a control board protected by a cover member. An outer interface input part 743 is provided which confirms a state of the selection switch after turning a main power source on, and which validates the interface 400 when two signals of the selection switch and an address decoder 724 match with each other. When the card unit 2 is not connected, the selection switch is switched to a position to invalidate the interface 400 to suppress fraudulence caused by connection to the interface 400.
