<p>A mechanism for converting between a reciprocating motion and a rotary motion is provided, comprising reciprocating members, a rotating member and a frame. The rotating member includes two end axles and one moving axle. The two end axles are rotatably installed on the frame and the rotary axes thereof are coaxial. A moving axle journal-accommodating hole is formed in each end axle in a distance of e from the rotary axis. Two ends of the moving axle are moving axle journals, between which three moving axle pins are provided. The axes of the moving axle pins are parallel to the axes of moving axle journals and have a distance of e from the journal axes. There is a phase difference of 180° between adjacent moving axle pins. As assembled, the moving axle journals are each rotatably connected with the journal-accommodating holes on both end axles. At least one reciprocating member disposed within a reciprocation guiding rail is provided for each moving axle pin, and is rotatably coupled to the moving axle pin through a moving-axle-pin-hole formed in the reciprocating member. There is a phase difference of 90° between the reciprocation guiding rails of adjacent reciprocating members. The mechanism eliminates connecting rods and circular slide blocks and overcomes the defects resulted therefrom. Furthermore, a machine utilizing the mechanism is also provided.</p> |
