PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a user's workload when instructing the execution of operation according to a function setting item.

SOLUTION: A CPU 2 selects one or more processing conditions displayed on a display unit of an operation panel 9 according to validity determination conditions (device configuration determination conditions and function configuration determination conditions), and when a single processing condition is selected, the CPU automatically selects the single processing condition as a processing condition used in a subsequent process. By this, the user's workload can be reduced when the execution of image forming operation according to the function setting item is instructed.
