The gear (101) has a lifting part (110) that is linearly displaceable between two end positions. A current-operated thermal lifting part drive (102) is arranged for adjusting the lifting part in a direction of one end position. A resetting element (122) resets the lifting part in a direction of the other end position. A locking unit (103) has a locking element (130) for locking the lifting part in arbitrary position outside the latter end position. The locking unit exhibits a positioning element (131) for adjusting the locking element from an initial position into a locking position.
