PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To grasp accurate intake volume, in an intake device for an internal combustion engine with an intake pipe branched from a common throttle body into a plurality of combustion chambers. SOLUTION: In this intake device 299 for the engine 17, an intake chamber 43 is provided downstream of the common throttle body 42, the intake pipe is branched from the intake chamber 43 into the plurality of combustion chambers 140 so as to communicate with each combustion chamber 140, and an injector 143 is provided for directly injecting fuel into each combustion chamber 140. Intake volume sensors 310, 311 measuring air volume led to flow into each combustion chamber 140 are provided respectively in a front intake port 301 and a rear intake port 302 downstream of the intake chamber 43.
