<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of a slide ring seal that it generates noise under a certain using condition. <P>SOLUTION: For efficiently suppressing the noise, the slide ring seal includes at least one damping part having at least one deformed sheet metal part. The deformed sheet metal part includes at least one spring part which can be elastically deformed and which is supported by pretension. Minute friction which brings efficient noise damping action is formed between the damping part and a supported area.
