摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging material for a lithium ion battery capable of suppressing occurrence of crack and breakage even if molding depth is made deeper when forming a recessed part by cold molding and having excellent moldability. SOLUTION: In the packaging material 1 for a lithium ion battery having a first adhesive layer 12, an aluminum foil layer 13, a second adhesive layer 14 and a base material layer 15A laminated in this order on one surface of a sealant layer 11, the base material layer 15A is a polymer film (A) having a displacement amount of 2.0-10.0% at 0.2% distortion in a tension testing in each of a flow direction (MD) and a vertical direction (TD) under a condition of a sample width 15 mm, a distance between gauge marks 50 mm/min and a tension speed 30 mm/min, and moreover, a yield point elongation is 0-2.0%.
