In a motor vehicle a rigid axle 1 is located by a leaf spring 2 and has clamped to it a carrier 6 which supports pneumatic springs 3, 4 in contact with chassis 5 and a pressure equalization line 14 extending between the pneumatic spring, which line includes a slide 17 which under braking or acceleration moves against springs 19, 20 to control the equalization. A line 12 extends from a compressor and includes a height adjusting valve 13. In a modification, the slide 17 is replaced by a throttle. |
